What happens next
Valid notices are actioned promptly. Because the media itself is served by our upstream provider, we remove the offending link or embed from this catalogue and forward the notice to the host so the source file can be removed as well. Incomplete notices — for example ones missing specific URLs — cannot be processed and will be returned.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details, the removed URL, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We will restore the link if the original complainant does not file a court action within the statutory period.
Repeat infringement
Sources that receive repeated valid complaints are removed from the catalogue entirely.
